Thank you for your interest in becoming part of Pet Companions Bed & Biscuit!
We are excited to meet you and your dog(s).  Please note: There is a $40 fee for an on-site consultation.

New Clients

This is the process we follow to evaluate New dogs:

  1. Complete consultation form

  2. Schedule a consultation visit via this Calendly link

  3. Receive confirmation of your information, appointment, and any questions we might have

  4. Visit Pet Companions with your pup for an evaluation

Returning Clients

If you are an existing client and you’re pup has not been here in more than two months, then you don’t need to complete the consultation form. You can schedule a reintroduction visit to have your pup reevaluated. Use this Calendly link.

Important Safety Considerations

Given that we are a "cage-free" environment -- where dogs of all sizes and breeds play together -- it is important that ensure our environment is a good fit for your dog.

There are a few “deal breakers” that we have to clear for your pup to be a member of the Biscuit. If any of these are true, do not continue with the consultation. If you would like to discuss further, please contact us.

  • If your pup is older than six months and not scheduled to be neutered or spayed

  • If your pup has bitten dogs in the past

  • If your pup is not up to date on vaccinations or has a positive fecal test

  • If your pup has been asked to leave another daycare or boarding facility

What to Expect During your Consultation Visit

Watch this video for a great overview of what to expect during your visit.

During the consultation, we will meet with you and your dog together in the consultation room to get to know each other. Then we will introduce your dog to the dogs on campus for a "meet & greet." We will invite you to watch the experience through the observation window above our yards. This is a great opportunity for you see first hand whether it seems like a good fit.

We will be evaluating your dog’s body language, levels of comfort and stress, their interactions with other dogs, and how they give and take corrections from other dogs and staff. If the initial introduction goes well, we will invite your dog to stay for a few hours to get to know the environment rather than jump into a full day.

Rest assured, it is not uncommon for dogs to be asked to come back for a second visit before being accepted. They can feel overwhelmed on the first visit and much more comfortable in their second visit.

Once accepted, we highly recommend your dog visit once or twice a week for 2-3 weeks to get to know our environment. We will let you know what days are available to join.

Please bring your vaccination records to the meeting or email them to reservations@petcompanionsinc.com

We look forward to meeting you!

Sincerely,
Laurel and the Pet Companions Bed & Biscuit Team
