Everything you need to know about daycare, boarding, grooming, enrichment, and getting started at The Biscuit.
We are open every day from 6:00am to 7:30pm, including weekends and most holidays.
Drop-off: 6:00am – 9:00am
Pick-up: 2:00pm – 7:30pm
Boarding pick-up: by 9:00am the following day. After 9:00am, your dog will be checked into daycare and may stay through the day.
For the safety of our staff and dogs, our doors are locked at 7:30pm.
To reach the floor team during your dog's stay, call 781-944-4217. For general questions, bookings, and all other inquiries, call or text 781-944-5445 or email [email protected].
No worries — your pup is in good hands. If you can't make pick-up by 7:30pm, we can check your dog in as a boarder. We have house food and comfortable beds. Please contact us to make the switch, and plan to pick up by 9:00am the following morning. If it's close to closing time, call the floor phone directly so the team can get your dog settled right away.
Absolutely. Our trained team is always present and fully engaged, monitoring all interactions to ensure every dog's safety, comfort, and enjoyment. We have a team member on campus 24/7, 365 days a year. During boarding, a team member sleeps with the dogs — no dog is ever left alone overnight.
Yes — we post daily on Facebook and Instagram, and occasionally on TikTok. During boarding visits, we provide report cards when possible. If something comes up that needs your attention, we'll contact you directly the same day.
We require current documentation for the following:
Lyme vaccination is optional but encouraged. All boarding dogs must also have a local emergency contact for each visit.
The Discovery Program is a required four-day induction period for all new dogs, completed within a two-week window. Our team spends dedicated one-on-one time introducing your dog to our five enrichment areas and slowly integrating them with the pack.
This structured process builds consistency, confidence, and comfort — and allows our team to identify any concerns early and provide supportive solutions. Every dog starts here, no exceptions.
Not every dog is suited to a cage-free environment, and we're honest about that. We accept dogs that get along with all shapes and sizes, can self-regulate and eventually settle, respond to corrections (from the team and other dogs), and don't exhibit behaviors that create a stressful environment for others.
If your dog has high anxiety, is an excessive barker, jumper, or door-rusher, is not comfortable with dogs of all sizes, or is prone to destructive behavior — a cage-free environment may not be the right fit. We'd recommend a facility with kennels, and we're happy to discuss at-home services like daily walks as an alternative.
Our team follows strict health and safety protocols with constant supervision and small group management. We use positive handling methods and calming routines — and when needed, we'll separate or crate a dog to help them feel safe and settled. We also track each dog's behavior, appetite, and mood in real time and will contact you immediately if we have concerns.
Our facility uses a UV air sanitation system that eliminates over 99% of viral and bacterial pathogens.
If your dog rolls in something or needs an unexpected full cleaning, there is a $40 cleaning fee. Our team acts quickly to get your pup thoroughly cleaned and comfortable, and we track such incidents to monitor behavior patterns over time.
Puppies must be at least 4 months old and up to date on all vaccinations, including kennel cough as recommended by their vet. Some vets have specific guidelines on when kennel cough can be administered — check with yours to make sure your puppy meets all requirements before their first visit.

We're a completely cage-free facility — we don't have kennels to isolate individual dogs when stress arises. Stress in dogs shows up as excessive barking, jumping, reactivity, aggression, or cowering, and it's contagious within a pack.
Requiring a minimum of one visit per week keeps the pack consistent and familiar. Dogs who know each other settle faster, play more confidently, and create a calmer environment for everyone. It also gives us the ongoing knowledge of your dog's behavior, mood, and social dynamics to provide genuinely personalized care.
We recommend bringing your dog's food (if they eat during the day), any necessary medications, and a comfort item if they have one. This keeps their routine consistent and helps them settle in quickly. All other essentials are provided by us.
Absolutely. Puppies under 6 months are fed at no charge. For dogs over 6 months, there is a $7 feeding fee for daycare. Feedings are always included at no extra cost for boarding dogs of any age.
We recommend booking recurring appointments for a minimum of 12 weeks to secure your preferred spot. Popular days fill quickly. To set up recurring appointments, reach out via text or email and we'll get you sorted.

Early pick-up: A fee equal to 50% of the nightly rate is charged for each unused remaining night. Credits may be applied toward any future services or products.
Last-minute boarding bookings (less than 36 hours) incur a $7/night fee. Unscheduled drop-offs are not accepted.
All food must be individually bagged per meal (e.g., Monday AM, Monday PM, Tuesday AM). Double-check your bag count and pack an extra meal or two in case your stay extends.
If meals run short, we provide Open Farm Salmon house food at $10 per meal.
For medication, use a clearly labeled pill minder with your dog's name, dosage, and time of administration. All feeding and medication details must also be entered in your Kennel Connection booking.
Every dog is fed individually in a private feeding room, following the instructions you've provided in Kennel Connection and on your check-in paperwork. Siblings may eat together only if you've specifically requested it.
For picky eaters, we have a few tricks — warm water, beef broth, peanut butter, pumpkin, rice, and treats. We note how much each dog eats at every meal. If a dog skips two meals in a row, we'll reach out right away.
We charge $3 per medication administration. If your dog receives multiple pills at the same time (e.g., an anti-anxiety medication and a supplement both given at breakfast), it's still one $3 charge. If medications are given at different times of day, each administration is charged separately.
If pill pockets are required and not provided, there is an additional $2 fee per pill pocket.
Yes. If your dog has not attended daycare within the past month, we require a re-visit plus 1–2 additional visits before boarding. This ensures there are no signs of stress or regression before you travel. We also require an emergency contact for every boarding stay.
Enrichment gives your dog opportunities to think, explore, and engage their senses in purposeful ways. It reduces stress, prevents boredom, builds confidence, and supports your dog's overall wellbeing — mentally, physically, and emotionally.
At Pet Companions, every enrichment activity is designed around five pillars: nutritional, sensory, intellectual, social, and physical. It's not an afterthought — it's built into every dog's day.
Every dog is different, but we recommend including enrichment regularly — even daily — to keep your pup mentally and emotionally stimulated. Many clients schedule a mix of calm and active sessions throughout the week for a balanced routine. Our team can help you find the right cadence for your dog.
Enrichment sessions are available as add-ons during daycare or boarding. You can book them in advance when making a reservation, or speak with our team to customize a schedule that fits your dog's routine and personality. If your dog is boarding, an off-campus nature walk through the conservation land behind our facility is a particularly great option.
Not at all — grooming is open to the entire community. You're welcome to book a grooming appointment whether or not your dog attends daycare or boarding. Companion and Trailblazer daycare members receive discounts on grooming services.
Most appointments run between 1 and 2 hours, depending on your dog's size, coat type, and temperament. We don't rush — every dog gets the time they need for a calm, positive experience.
We focus on basic grooming — baths, brush-outs, nail trims, deshedding, and ear care. For breed-specific styling or elaborate trim work, we recommend pairing our services with a full-service groomer. We're the ideal complement between full grooms. Reach out and we can discuss what's right for your dog's breed and coat.
A negative fecal test with Giardia screening is required every six months for all dogs attending daycare and boarding. Many dogs carry parasites with zero visible symptoms — clean results help prevent microscopic parasites, particularly Giardia, from spreading in our group environment.
We follow the testing frequency recommended by the Companion Animal Parasite Council (CAPC). We strongly encourage you to ask your vet to include this test in your dog's routine care — it's a simple step that protects every dog in our pack.
Yes — your vet can send results directly to us. We'll update your dog's records automatically once we receive them. You can also drop a sample with us on any daycare or boarding visit and we'll send it to our certified veterinary laboratory. Results typically arrive within 24 hours.
Don't worry — Giardia is very common and very treatable. Because it's contagious to other dogs, we do require a negative fecal test result from your vet before your dog returns to us. We've put together a full guide covering what the diagnosis means, how treatment works, and what to do at home.
We provide personalized home visits including walks, playtime, feeding, medication support, and wellness check-ins — bringing the same standard of care to your home. We also offer weekly yard clean-up as an add-on service.
Have your dog's essentials ready — food, leash, any medication — and share any special care instructions or access details ahead of time. The more we know about your dog's routine, the more seamless the visit will be.
All daycare and service packages must be used within six months of the purchase date. We send gentle reminders as your package approaches expiration so nothing goes to waste.
