As a cage-free environment where dogs of all sizes and breeds play together, it's essential that every guest is a safe and happy fit for The Biscuit. Please review the criteria below before booking your consultation.

New Boarding Clients — Consultation Fee Waived
New clients who book a consultation before the end of June have their $50 consultation fee waived. The Discovery Program process remains exactly the same — same meet & greet, same four Discovery Days, same full evaluation. The only thing that changes is the fee.
- ⚠️Are over six months old and remain unspayed or unneutered. Once a puppy reaches 6 months, they may no longer be intact.
- ⚠️Have a history of biting, aggression, or excessive barking.
- ⚠️Are not licensed in the municipality in which they reside.
- ⚠️Are not fully up to date on vaccinations, including a negative fecal exam with Giardia screening twice per year.
- ⚠️Have been asked to leave another daycare or boarding facility.
Consultation through Discovery Program
Every new dog goes through the same structured process — from first hello to full pack member. Here's exactly what to expect.
Meet & Greet
You and your dog will meet with our team. We take time to get to know you both, discuss your dog's needs, answer every question you have, and ensure the experience feels relaxed and welcoming.
Important: All vaccine records and license paperwork must be submitted prior to your visit.
Observation Window
You'll be invited to watch through our observation window as your dog is slowly introduced to members of our pack. This gives you the chance to see how they interact and adjust in a safe, supervised setting.

Yard Introduction
We bring your dog to the front yard for a slow meet & greet with other dogs and staff. During this time, our team is evaluating body language, comfort and stress level, safe interactions — including how they respond to corrections from other dogs and from our team.
Consultation Trial Stay
If the initial introduction goes well, your dog may be invited to stay for a few hours to explore our environment and get comfortable with the space and the team.
Following this trial visit, if we believe your dog will be a positive addition to our community, we'll invite you to join the Discovery Program.
Discovery Program
The Discovery Program is a four-day induction period required for all new dogs, completed within two weeks. Your dog begins upstairs with our team for dedicated one-on-one time exploring the five areas of enrichment — what games they love, what puzzles engage them, what flavors they prefer.
We then slowly introduce them to the pack in small groups so they're never overwhelmed. This process builds consistency and confidence, and gives us an opportunity to identify any concerns early and offer solutions.

Upon completion of the Discovery Program, we'll share a full report: what activities you played, what we learned, who they were most comfortable with, and any observations we want to share. We'll also provide recommendations for enrichment activities and suggest a schedule that pairs them with their new best friends.
