We are currently fully booked for consultation appointments. We would still like to meet you and your pup. We will reach out and find a time we can fit you into our schedule!
What to expect when you do visit us:
15 interview with you and your pet in our consultation room
Invitation to our observation window
20-30 minute introduction for your dog in the yard with our staff and other dogs
If the initial introduction looks good, an invitation will be extended for your dog to stay 1-2 hours
If your dog is not comfortable but may still be a nice fit, an invitation to schedule a retrial
If your dog is not a fit, we will offer recommendations that may work better than PCB&B
All dogs that attend Pet Companions are monitored on-going for comfort, fit and most importantly, safety for all.
It is not unusual for a dogs temperament to change over time or during transitional periods at home ~ for many they become even more relaxed. For others, they may become more excitable.
We will share observations, what we have done to help and recommendations. It is OK to take time away from Pet Companions, focus on training, and then come back for a retrial and reintroduction.
We love all dogs but require positive behaviors to make it safe for a cage-free environment.
Thank you for understanding and supporting us.
