With a shared passion for dogs and decades of hospitality and leadership experience, Laurel and Erik have shaped Pet Companions Bed & Biscuit into more than just a daycare and boarding facility — a genuine home away from home for every dog and family we serve.
Laurel is a lifelong dog lover whose calm and thoughtful leadership has shaped Pet Companions into a place where dogs feel safe, enriched, and truly cared for. She is deeply involved in the daily flow of the business — overseeing care routines, guiding and supporting the team, and ensuring that every dog is treated with kindness, patience, and respect.
Laurel's background spans more than twenty-five years in hospitality — at illy caffè, Marriott International, United Airlines, the Ritz-Carlton, Four Seasons, Le Meridien, and JW Marriott. She brought that standard to Pet Companions with a clear vision: dog care rooted in relationship, consistency, and genuine hospitality. Leaving should never feel like leaving behind.
Behind the scenes, Erik plays a vital role in the growth and operations of Pet Companions. From systems and strategy to logistics, technology, and facility improvements, he brings structure and balance to the business — allowing Laurel's vision to flourish and the standard to hold.
Erik's steady dedication shows in the quality, consistency, and integrity of the Pet Companions experience. His commitment ensures the business not only runs seamlessly but continues to evolve with the needs of the pets and families it serves.

Paula keeps our operations running smoothly from her home office in Wisconsin. She is the friendly, efficient point of contact who ensures every client question is answered promptly and every billing detail is handled with care. Paula genuinely loves building relationships with our families and makes every interaction feel personal and stress-free.
Based in the Philippines, Jollia is the creative force behind much of what our community sees and engages with. From the Paw Print newsletter and social media to employee handbooks and branded graphics, she ensures every piece of communication from The Biscuit is polished, cohesive, and on brand.
